Organic food

The phrase “organic food” is defined by helpguid.org as the “organic refers to the way agricultural products are grown and processed. While the regulations vary from country to country, in the U.S., organic crops must be grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, bioengineered genes (GMOs), petroleum-based fertilizers, and sewage sludge-based fertilizers. Organic livestock raised for meat, eggs and dairy products must have access to the outdoors and be given organic feed. They may not be given antibiotics, growth hormones, or any animal by-products.” It has been decades since stores introduce the society to inorganic foods and it has been affecting the lifestyle, health, and environment.
Organic foods have more benefit with their high nutrients, for instance, antioxidants, these nutrients help a body to fight cancer. Organic food helps the mental and physical health of the society. The absence of artificial ingredients like flavors, preservatives and coloring in organic food benefit the health and obesity.
Organic food helps the lifestyle of the society. These are just raw food and as a result, they need to be prepared and cooked. These factors help bring the lost “dining together” culture to the society. These foods
help the society to enjoy the seasonal flavors with the seasonal harvest. Organic foods is more nutritious, according to helpguide.org which referred to the result of a European study in 2016 “the level of certain nutrients, including omega-3 fatty acids, were up to 50 percent higher in organic meat and milk than in conventionally raised version” Organics are not free from fertilizers or pesticides but they use natural-derived fertilizers and lower level of synthetics. The effect of pesticides and fertilizers increases the risk of certain cancers such as breast, prostate cancer, brain tumors, leukemia, and lymphoma. Children and fetuses are exposed highly and as a result, are diagnosed with behavioral disorders,
developmental delays, autism, immune system harm and motor dysfunction. Another factor that causes a major health problem in inorganic foods is GMOs, which are genetically modified foods.these foods are causing food allergies increased toxicity, decreased the nutritional value and antibiotic resistance. Organic foods are fresh and help the environment from the pollution of fertilizers, soil fertility, water conservation and birds and other animals. Organic foods benefit financially by keeping the money within the local economy and encourages farmers. Finally, organic foods are friendly to living
organisms and the environment.
